Short and ribbed tubshape pasta with the same lenght as the Mezzani, but with an oblique cut. Known and appreciated all over the world, Penne Mezzani Rigate are excellent for cooking simple and quick first courses, also ideal for original recipes to be prepared in advance, such as a pasta salads or an omelette shared with your loved ones. Story time: originally ribbed shapes were produced only for the northen Italian regions and were in fact known as the pasta to use in Rome, while the Orthodox from Gragnano have always preferred smooth pasta
Our pasta is PGI Certified Gragnano Pasta, bronze-die, slowly dried at low temperatures, made with 100% Italian durum wheat semolina and local spring water. Contains a minimum of 14% protein, firm to cooking and highly digestible
